Lead follow-up

← Back to client help

Video coming soon.

Every new lead gets an automatic reply, and you get an alert. That first reply goes out on its own, so a customer who fills out your form or reaches out hears back from your business while you're busy.

On Essentials

A new lead gets the automatic reply, and you get the alert. From there, pick up the conversation from the app. Open it in Conversations, type your reply, and send.

On Automated Front Office

New leads get a reply, then a seven-step follow-up over 14 days until they book or opt out. You don't have to remember to chase anyone: the follow-up keeps going on its own. New leads also land in the first stage in Opportunities on their own.

What you still do

  • Watch for the alert and open the conversation.
  • Answer questions the follow-up can't, and book the job when the customer is ready.
  • Move each job forward in Opportunities as it progresses, and to Job Won when it's done.

Texts and email

Texts under your business name turn on once the carriers approve your number, which we submit for you. Email replies run from day one. If a lead replies STOP to a text, they won't get further texts from your business.

Changing who gets alerts

To change who gets the new-lead alerts, reply to any SwitchPoint email or use the Help link in your app, and tell us what you'd like changed. We change it for you.
