Swapping a service

← Back to client help

Your site lists six services, each with a title and a description. They started as the services you gave us at onboarding. When your work changes, you can swap a service out for a new one.

How to swap a service

Use the change-request form:

  1. Under where on the site, say which service you're replacing.
  2. Under what it says now, paste its current title and description.
  3. Under what it should say, write the new title and the new description, in your own words.

Swapping a service is a content change, so it's free.

Writing a good description

Describe what you actually do. Say what the service is and who it's for, in the plain words your customers use when they call you. Keep it short enough to read at a glance.

Requests with numbers or superlatives you can't back up are sent back. So leave out rankings, review counts or other figures you can't show, and stick to the work itself.

What a swap doesn't include

A swap changes the title and description in one of your service slots. If you'd like a whole new page for a service, that's outside what the Pro Site includes. New pages and custom layouts aren't offered.

Before you send

There's one active request at a time, and unclear requests may be sent back with a question. Check the new title and description read exactly the way you want them before you send.
